Terms of Use for Soulful Countdown

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Soulful Countdown mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Services”), operated by Soulful Countdown ( “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. License to Use the Services

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Sell, rent, lease, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Services;
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the app;
• Remove, alter, or obscure copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices.

2. Purchases via RevenueCat

Certain features require in-app purchases or subscriptions. These are processed through RevenueCat. We do not store your payment information. Please review RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy here: https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.

3. Data Storage & Privacy

Almost all app data (e.g., countdowns, dates, settings) is stored locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or access your personal content. Deleting the app will remove all local data unless you create your own backup.

4. Children’s Use

The Services are not intended for children under 18. Since we do not collect personal data (other than payment info via RevenueCat), children can safely use the app without creating an account.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create in the app. By using the app, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to use your content solely to operate and improve the Services. You are responsible for keeping your own backups.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate laws or third-party rights;
• Harass, threaten, or harm others;
• Interfere with the app or attempt to create competing products.

We may remove content or suspend access at our discretion.

7. Intellectual Property

All app content, software, and trademarks are owned by Soulful Countdown or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership to you.

8. Disclaimers

The Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy, or error-free operation.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Soulful Countdown is not liable for:

• Loss of data or content;
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;
• Damages exceeding $50 USD in total.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms. Upon termination, local data remains on your device; we do not retain copies.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines, without regard to conflicts of law principles.
